Sunsets, Film Cameras, and Curious Cows: Megan & Alex’s Stunning Summer Wedding at Wasing Park
Megan & Alex had the perfect weather for their summer wedding, which took place at Wasing Park. It’s a unique venue, as the church is right beside the main event space! This made life much easier for everyone and allowed for some great shots of guests walking to and from.
They’re an incredible couple who embraced every moment of the day! When I met with them a couple of months beforehand, I was excited to learn that Alex was into photography and would be bringing along his old film camera, a Canon AE-1. After trying my best not to geek out too hard about it, they asked if I’d be happy to shoot a roll of film on the day. Of course, I was thrilled and agreed, which also sparked the idea of including film photography in my future packages!
The day was perfect from start to finish, and everyone was such a joy to photograph. The sunset was spectacular! Admittedly, we did have a bit of excitement when we were chased by some curious cows. At that moment, we also discovered a larger-than-life bull, seemingly eager to discuss why I hadn’t asked for permission to take photos in his field.
