Chloe & Matt’s Day: An Autumnal Wedding at Eastington Park

Chloe & Matt’s November 1st wedding took place at Eastington Park, an incredibly charming wedding venue that is quickly becoming one of my favourites to shoot at!

First of all, Chloe & Matt were both an absolute dream to work with. They were so relaxed on the day and made sure I was very well looked after throughout. It’s something they didn’t have to do, but it just shows what kind-hearted people they are. Wedding photography—and the wedding day in general—is very much a team effort, and my best work comes from days like this one.

The details were filled with warm autumnal colours, perfectly matching Chloe’s vision of a ‘cozy feel.’ We were at the peak of autumnal loveliness, so when I saw the leaf blowers in the morning, I did have a moment of panic! Thankfully, Eastington Park has such a large area to work with that it wasn’t an issue. Besides, they didn’t fancy blowing away leaves that would inevitably return anyway—rant over.

I love the light at this time of year; you just can’t beat it. While this day didn’t have particularly spectacular light, it still trumped an overcast summer day—somehow!

The day’s proceedings ended with a lively sparkler run and a brilliant confetti cannon during the first dance, which nearly blew half my face off! This wedding was truly one of my favourites this year, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
